Before Collective Sarees became a brand, sarees were simply something Christeena Kurian loved.

While pursuing her master’s degree at St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, from 2012 to 2014, Christeena’s passion for sarees began to take shape. The colours, textures and endless possibilities of a drape drew her in—but so did the individuality of it all. The same saree could feel entirely different depending on the woman wearing it.

That fascination stayed with her, becoming part of a journey into beauty, bridal styling and fashion.

From Personal Passion to Personal Curation

Through her work as a makeup artist, bridal consultant and founder of Rare Drapes, Christeena has helped women bring their occasion looks together. Those experiences shaped her approach to clothing: an outfit should feel beautiful, comfortable and true to the person wearing it.
